8 Days Trip to Australia: Sydney & Melbourne!

Hello, I am finally back with a new blog series on "8 Days Trip to Australia: Sydney & Melbourne"! Super excited to share the itinerary we had planned for our Australia holiday. Before I delved into our schedule for each day, let me just give you a summary of our 8 Days Australia travelogue!

I have been to Melbourne for a work trip earlier in 2017. Having enjoyed myself there and not have spent much time exploring the city, I thought it would be nice if I could visit Melbourne again for a holiday this time. Seeing that I have explored some parts of Melbourne myself, we settled on an 8 Days trip to both Sydney and Melbourne on 26 Aug - 2 Sep 2017. This also marked as our delayed graduation trip with 2 of my university friends! :)

Without further ado, here is a brief run down of the attractions we visited in both cities:

Day 8 (2 September 2017, Saturday) Blog post

-Evening flight from Melbourne, Melbourne Tullamarine Airport to Singapore, Changi Airport

As compared to my 18 Days Japan trip (click here!), itinerary planning for the Australia trip is much more simplified. Perhaps this is due to less traveling between cities and Australia's simpler transportation system (somewhat like Singapore), I did not have to do as much research which is a good thing! Also, there is no language barrier since people speak English in Australia.

Overall, I could have spent another few more days in Australia, especially for Sydney as it was my first time visiting and there are tons more of cafes which I would like to visit. Australia is basically a cafe haven where cafe food taste as good as they look - insta worthy, food worthy and price worthy.

That is all for now, I will be updating on our Day 1 Sydney itinerary shortly!
